So, the show on Saturday went tremendous. Kudos goes to Huffman for pulling together such talented people for such a great cause. It felt so nice to be on stage again, though I will not deny my nerves. I received some incredible feedback–words that I will not trade for the world. The idea that I can share my thoughts, and what’s in my heart and someone else can relate to it. It still boggles my mind–that people get it, that an idea can hit the air and do what it does: find minds and hearts and guts and souls. I found the entire evening to be exceptional, despite the pile of nerves I had to sift through prior to showtime. It’s even nice to be nervous again.

And what a great Sunday to follow up. Coffee, bagel, co-op, people watching. You never need to spend money on a nice day when there are people around to observe. It’s okay that my vegan mac and cheese proved to be a bust last night. Just something I’ll have to master in due time.

Open mic tomorrow, but first! Work today. Hence the short but sweet update.

in a middle of a room
stands a suicide
sniffing a Paper rose
smiling to a self

“somewhere it is Spring and sometimes
people are in real:imagine
somewhere real flowers,but
I can’t imagine real flowers for if I

could,they would somehow
not Be real”
(so he smiles
smiling)”but I will not

everywhere be real to
you in a moment”
The is blond
with small hands

“& everything is easier
than I had guessed everything would
be;even remembering the way who
looked at whom first,anyhow dancing”

(a moon swims out of a cloud
a clock strikes midnight
a finger pulls a trigger
a bird flies into a mirror)
