An anxious game of chase today, trying to hunt down the results of my echocardiogram from last week. The doctor has them, the doctor doesn’t. The hospital doesn’t, the hospital does. Around 4pm a nurse calls my work phone.

 Mitral valve prolapse, a regurgitation in the heart noticed. I have to follow up with a cardiologist to determine if it should be medicated(let’s hope not) and then continue to follow up yearly. It could definitely be worse. Oh I’m so glad that it isn’t worse. I love my heart so much.

In other news, we are in the month of March. I am sitting in a tremble, just for spring. Probably the hardest winter behind me. And today I pointed out buds on the trees outside the office window, and coworkers rolled their eyes and laughed–”they’ll be dead and frozen and gone soon enough.” They kept saying it with such a weird satisfaction–eh, I can shrug off a mood killer. I don’t care. Spring is coming.
